Take a trek to the Taylor Site to see tremendous theropod tracks!

Join Ranger Zach as we hike up the Paluxy River to the Taylor Track Site. Here we can see the Lone Ranger, North America's longest single dinosaur trackway! We'll also see juvenile theropod tracks, positive relief tracks, and elongated metatarsal tracks!

 

This hike will last approximately two hours and cover two miles. Expect to get wet (at least waist deep)!! Please do not bring anything you do not want to get wet (phones, cameras, etc.). 

 

Ages: 8 and up

Meet: At the Park Store

Bring: Water, close toed shoes, hat

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.
