Calling all experienced kayakers! Enjoy some kayaking company and the ambience of sunsets at the lake.
Reservation necessary, kayaks and life vests limited: Call (903) 395-3100. Be prepared with your life vest size (chest size and body weight) and choice of single (1 seat) or tandem (2 seats) kayak. You may bring your own gear at your own risk, but you still need to register and get your confirmation email to participate. Proper life jackets required to participate: type III Coast Guard approved for kayaking with proper fit and in useable condition.
This program will last about 2 hours. There are restrooms onsite. Arrive 10 minutes early to get situated with your belongings and the equipment. The last 15 minutes of the program will be used to clean up and put the kayaks and safety equipment away. Expect to get soaked and have fun!

Bring: copy of confirmation email, water, sunscreen, towel, water shoes (barefoot/flip flops are a no go), long sleeves, hat with neck tie/drawstring, clothes to change into after
Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with park entrance fee ($5 per persons ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass.).
