Seasonal feasts abound! Come out for interactive and educational activities about how early peoples (Native Americans and early settlers) collected and prepared food.

See if you have what it takes to hunt by bow and arrow. Sound too easy? Try your hand at the precursor to the bow and arrow, the atlatl!

Join a ranger as we take a short hike and discover many of the park's edible and medicinal plants!

Learn about cooking with cast iron and an open flame! Sample tasting included!

Think you make the best chili? Come out and prove it! Grab your cast iron and your secret recipe, and enter our Cast Iron Chili Cook off!
