Description:

Fort Boggy is located in Leon County and consists of 1,847 acres. It was graciously donated to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in 1985 by Eileen Crain Sullivan to be developed as a state park.

Things to Do
Swimming, fishing, hiking and mountain biking are allowed. There is a boat ramp and the lake (approximately 15 acres) is open to small boats, canoes, kayaks, etc. The park also has a day use group pavilion, that can be reserved.

The park offers a variety of educational opportunities. Check the calendar for upcoming events or contact the park for special tours.

Equipment Rentals
This park participates in the Angler Education “Tackle Loaner Program"; individuals can borrow rods, reels and tackle boxes with hooks, sinkers and bobbers.

Entrance Fees
Adult: $3 Daily
Child 12 Years and Under: Free

Hours
Open Saturday and Sunday for day use only from 8 a.m. to sunset.
Closed Monday through Friday.
