Join a ranger to learn about the importance of fire in nature!

Fire can be scary, but it's also extremely important and healthy for natural ecosystems. Join us to learn about how wildland firefighters use prescribed fires  in parks and other wild areas as a resource management tool. We'll also have some wildland firefighter tools of the trade on display.

Note: All park programs are free and open to the public with paid entrance fee ($7 per adult ages 13 and up, children 12 and under are always free!). No need to register, just show up.
