Learn to share conservation with children: Professional Development for anyone who works with children
Although Flying WILD is not part of the Texas Project WILD Suite that is sponsored by Texas Parks & Wildlife, we post workshops as a sister program from the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies.
The Flying WILD curriculum contains over 40 activities that teach students about birds, their migration and what people can do to help birds and their habitats. In this interactive workshop, participants will engage in activities about basic avian biology, migratory bird facts, bird identification and environmental issues affecting migratory birds.
Registration includes:
- 6 hours TEA-approved CPE and TEEAC Credit
- Flying WILD: An Educator’s Guide to Celebrating Birds
- Parking
Anyone who works with children, including teachers, homeschoolers, informal educators, and scout leaders is welcome..
